Diet- dieting.....dieted

Why does "dieing" not show up in spell check when the correct spelling is "dying".?
The Yahoo! Spell check is flawed. It doesn't ask you to capitalize words such as "christian" or proper nouns and many spellings it suggests are incorrect. Use your own grammatical skills,a dictionary or a reliable on-line database. This device is also prone to scrambling my words after I use it! Now I just ignore it and use my own good sense. Why does "dieing" not show up in spell check when the correct spelling is "dying".?
Dieing is not a word. This is one of the many reasons you should NOT rely on spell check. Spell check is not infallible. Spell check will ultimately get you into trouble.

Use a dictionary.
