MS Word - does adding a word to the dictionary save it to the file when sending it someone else to view?

I.e. If a word is underlined in red in the original file and I add this to the dictionary so that it recognises it as spelt correctly and I then send it to someone to review; will it appear underlined on their computer or will it have remembered that I added it as correct?MS Word - does adding a word to the dictionary save it to the file when sending it someone else to view?
No, it's added only to one of your local dictionaries, and I've wondered for years why Microsoft has never thought it worthwhile to do just what you want: Provide an internal glossary with the document.

That would make documents sent to customers look so much more professional.

Hope that helps.
No, it will appear as underlined, as it is added to your dictionary on your machine.MS Word - does adding a word to the dictionary save it to the file when sending it someone else to view?
No, when you add it to your dictionary it saves it to a small file on your computer that tells it which words make sense and which dont so unless you send the dictionary file to your friend as well the words will still be seen as unknown

if that makes any sense :)
No, it won't remember. Dictionaries are computer specific, not file specific.MS Word - does adding a word to the dictionary save it to the file when sending it someone else to view?
When you add to the dictionary, which is sensible with words or names you use a lot, it is added to YOUR dictionary only so it will most likely show up red underlined on another computer, but no matter, it doesn't print out. If you are worried that you think the other person may think you have done it wrong, why not add a comment to the effect that it has been added to your dictionary.
