If a word in a dictionary is misspelled, how would you know?

ive seen a couple of words in the dictionary that look spelt wrongIf a word in a dictionary is misspelled, how would you know?
That's what the dictionary is for to let us know what looks right or wrong to us vs what it right. So, chances are it's right in the dictionary even though it may not look right to you or me.
Ha ha, that's such an oxymoron. If a word in a dictionary is misspelled, how would you know?
Type in the words you think are spelt wrong online.
Look them up merriam-webster online. Or better yet, tell them to us, I'll ask my Latin teacher (he definitely knows.)If a word in a dictionary is misspelled, how would you know?
Well if the word was spelled wrong, you'll never have to look up that word because it doesn't exist... you'll never have the need to seek that wrongly spelled word.
Well, the aren't spelled wrong. Dictionaries don't have typos; dictionary companies work on a full work schedule, all year. Their job is to check for these things. Even if something is spelled wrong, the dictionary is always right. Remember that: if the dictionary says "spelt" is spelled wrong (which it is), they have a reason for it. You can't say a dictionary is wrong. That's why someone said it's an oxymoron; it is.
