Need a spelling rule about how-ck and -ke change sound of vowel and are there any words in dictionary that end

and how is -or prounounced in work and worm?

how does -ke and -ck need a spelling rule for theseNeed a spelling rule about how-ck and -ke change sound of vowel and are there any words in dictionary that end
I can try to explain the --ke, --ck, rule:

--ke The vowel that comes before the k is long; that is it says

its own name. eg. b-a-k-e, l-a-k-e, , L-u-k-e

--ck The vowel that comes before the c is short. So, b-a-c-k,

l-a-c-k, l-u-c-k.

work %26amp; worm I'll leave for someone else. Hope this helps you.
