How can i reset the Firefox spell check dictionary to default?

i must have added 10-15 words to the dictionary by now accidentally because the option is right under the word selections but im not sure how to reset them. i dont want to simply delete the list without knowing beforehand that the program will replace it with the default list.How can i reset the Firefox spell check dictionary to default?
You can always re-download the dictionary by clicking the Languages-%26gt;Add Dictionaries right-click menu item.



The dictionary itself seems to be in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Dictionaries and should be editable with any text editor (Notepad, Wordpad). It seems to have a series of codes after many of the entries. I don't know what they mean, so try leaving them off.

Phelob is wrong. Program Files are where the program are stored.

Dictionaries are stored accordingly to each users.

For Windows 98/Me

-Go to Start, Run... C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

Click the folder and edit the file called persdict.dat using Notepad or WordPad. The words inside one you “add to dictionary” just delete them and save the files.
