How do they get away with spelling mistakes in dictionaries?

I have one in which, in one instance, NORMALLY is spelt NORMERLY. It's published by Geddes %26amp; Grosset, which isn't really a household name. I can trust this particular dictionary to give words' correct meanings, but they really should have put more care into the spelling of words. After all, that's part of why we use dictionaries. It's inexcusible. (LOL)How do they get away with spelling mistakes in dictionaries?
Surely you jest? There could be no excuse, NO excuse for a dictionary to have a single error in it. It's where we go for the answer. The CORRECT answer. If one word is spelt incorrectly, how can we trust any of the others? I cannot believe you are being serious.
Cut then some slack. Everyone makes mistakes. It's a big book. You can't think there will be NO typos. How do they get away with spelling mistakes in dictionaries?
