Is there such a thing as a voice activated dictionary or spelling tool?

I have a friend who is dyslexic. She has a terrible time trying to text someone or answering e-mail as she can't spell. It's very time consuming for her to use a dictionary. Is there such a thing that she could just speak the word and the contraption would spell it for her? If not, why not? What a wonderful invention that would be!Is there such a thing as a voice activated dictionary or spelling tool?
Google Voice provides additional features such as voicemail, call history, conference calling, call screening, blocking of unwanted calls, and voice transcription to text of voicemail and it's free.



For a smartphone like the iPhone Jott is a free app, but after a week they will charge $3 a month for a support team to work with the conversion service. The monthly service systems are less quirky and in my opinion better in accuracy and less stressful in setup than most others.Is there such a thing as a voice activated dictionary or spelling tool?
most computers now come with some type of this device. there is a program called Dragon, also.Is there such a thing as a voice activated dictionary or spelling tool?
There is, my history teacher uses it all the time, but im not sure what its called.
