My spelling is pretty good and often the spell checker suggests American versions of the word I've used. British English spellings are perfectly valid, especially as I am English in nationality!
It is very irritating and I would like to turn it off, or change the dictionary.Why does the Yahoo! Answers spell checker say my spelling is wrong? Can I turn it off?
I agree! And it says anything you make possessive is misspelled. It drives me nuts! And the thing that says you are using too much punctuation is crazy, too. All you have to do is use quotation marks or parentheses and it says it's too much. I'll be watching to see if anyone knows how to turn it off.Why does the Yahoo!
