Magic Spell Dictionary?

I'm starting to write a story about magic, but unfortunately my skill with google is ...less than adequate, hell, at this point I'm even willing to buy a book about spells. Either way is good. What is need is something like a dictionary for spells. For example it gives the spell in wording, then the pronunciation, and of course what that spell does. Even anything close to this would be helpful. I would also rather it be kind of authentic spells, and since I don't believe they would ever really work I don't mind if they are authentic (as in like the actual stuff people used years and years ago). Thank you for any help, I really appreciate all that you give me.Magic Spell Dictionary?

But you really need to define further the type of magick you are dealing with. Is it focusing on traditional European or American witches, modern wiccans or other pagans of a particular sort (there are neo-druids for example) or the sorcery of Aleister Crowley, much of that Enochian magick, or something else like alchemy (which Newton was a serious practitioner of)?

The spells in Crowley's books are flowery and full of Latin but they are used to do things like conjure up demons. Not exactly what you want if you want to place a hex on an enemy or brew up a love potion.Magic Spell Dictionary?
Since magic spells are fantasy, they differ from story to story. All books tend to make up their own spells, so it is hard to set a definite word for each spell. For example Harry Potter spells are much different than those in the Hobbit / Lord of the Rings. Just make up your own, it's more exciting and creative that way =]

We keep a list of spells in what we call a Book of Shadows or BoS, and all sorts of other information. Those books are not for sale by ANY real witches.
