In MS Word 2003, can you turn off the French dictionary when doing spell check?

I'm spell checking a very long document, and the spell checker keeps coming up with words that are misspelled in French, but are correct in English. I'd really like to tell Word that I don't want to check for anything in any language besides English. Is this possible?In MS Word 2003, can you turn off the French dictionary when doing spell check?
If sections of the document were perhaps cut and pasted from another document which had french enabled, that would cause the problem. Go through your document and make sure it is all set to english.In MS Word 2003, can you turn off the French dictionary when doing spell check?
if you have typed in french and switched your language to french on the computer lately make sure you have switched back to english. if that dosnt work go into the settings of word.
